| Harbeth HL Monitor Mk1-Mk3: the first polypropylene driver |

| Launched in 1977, this was Harbeth's original model, and the same size cabinet continues right through to the Super HL5. Note the milky colour polypropylene cone. |

| Harbeth HL Mk4 |
 |
| Similar to the Mk1-3, and sharing the same Audax tweeter, the Mk4 was the first Harbeth to break away from polypropylene and featured the shiny black Audax TPX woofer in a zinc-magnesium face mounted chassis. |

| Harbeth HL Compact |
 |
| The HL Compact (not HL Compact 7 series) used a derivative of the Audax TPX driver from the Mk4 and introduced the SEAS tweeter. |

| Harbeth HL5 |

| Built on the accumulated experience of the Mk4 and original HL Compact, the HL5 featured a removable baffle, and initially a hybrid Audax/Harbeth woofer and a SEAS tweeter. The later HL5ES and Super HL5 used Harbeth designed/built RADIAL woofers. |
